HISTORY - Page One
The Aussie/Australian Bulldog name came about simply by referring to a
bulldog breed and the country in which it was established.
For example: French Bulldogs, British Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, Brazilian
Bulldogs.
The Aussie / Australian Bulldog was named by ourselves Noel &
Tina Green.

Top right photo: 11 of our
dogs. Pure bullmastiffs, boxer crosses, staffy crosses, bullmastiff
crosses and bulldog crosses.
This motley crew of dogs was from the end of our working dog era.
A few pups from this first
line of dogs were used in remote areas of QLD , NSW & NT for helping in
the control and eradication of scrub bulls and feral pigs .These dogs
were functional, athletic, controllable, intelligent, and productive
making them very capable for the job that was set out for them. The JAG
dogs took a step from the stocky bull catching type dogs, to a new area
of breeding healthy Bulldogs with interesting colour and great
personalities, more bulldog in appearance, and not a catch dog as such
from the generation in pictures below.

the first foundation lines behind the Jag dogs. "Banjo"( Bully/Staffy/Boxer)

daughter "Sally Anne" out of "Brindle"( Bullmastiff/Boxer) . Jag Sally
Anne on the right in pup to Tropea's Agro. (JAG) used "Agro"
(BBD/Boxer) over Sally in1993.This litter
produced a well known productive female called Jag Dishlex ( Dish).
She was only 25% BBD blood, and we relied on her to
build the platform for future breeding plans.
"Dish" was mated to a
pure white British Bulldog "Jake",
producing 2M & 2 F pups born on the 11-04-94 .
