Aussie Bulldogs, Loved by Name, Adored by Nature,
Backed by Committed breeders For The Future

Our love for Bulldogs and Mastiff breeds began in the late 1980’s, with the start of our foundation lines.
These were later bred back to British Bulldogs to create the Aussie bulldog we know today.
We have also bred pedigreed bullmastiffs for 16 years, and Boxers, Rottweilers, Dogue De Bordeaux's, English bullterriers, and Great Danes for a few years with each breed. Overall we have found the Aussie Bulldog to be the perfect all round family companion, and Bullmastiffs are loyal family companions and a great guard dog, so we will more than likely always have a Bullmastiff amongst our crew.

All our Aussie Bulldogs are socialised with family members and are hand reared from the first hour born, which in our opinion, tends to make puppies more alert and responsive to people. Our dogs enjoy exercising on our 20 acre property backing onto a fresh water river in the coral coast area of Queensland. Our Aussies are an important and special  part of our lives, from naming the breed and developing the J.A.G lines and continuing to breed a particular type of dog. Our kennel name was created by using our son's initials, James Anthony Green.

We have always enjoyed helping upcoming breeders to get started with their own collection of Aussie Bulldogs, and giving them some pointers on how to aim for the best results in their future breeding programs. A large number of these breeders are now, in turn, passing on all their knowledge and experiences onto other newcomers, making certain that Aussies have an excellent future.

The Aussie Bulldog has come along way since the first litter bred in Australia in 1997, all starting with 1 foundation line to the thousands of Aussies registered today. The Aussie Bulldog is still a breed in development and is recognised by families across Australia for a much loved companion, functional, dependable and predictable in character. Our whole aim initially was to breed a dog of bulldog type, not too overdone, but sturdy looking, much like the Old Bulldog used in the foundation lines behind the Bullmastiff.

The Aussie bulldog is an affordable dog, more suited to the conditions of the Australian climate, more active and make for a suitable watch dog with their alertness. Aussie bulldogs lifespan is from 8-10 years.

The United Aussie Bulldog association was formed by ourselves (Noel and Tina Green) in 2003 to keep track of breed records for all lines of Aussies.
From July 2009, breeders within the UABA have the choice to register their own pups on a template issued by
Ausdog registry ( a branch of the UABA ).The Ausdog Ancestry certificate can be sent to the admin of the United Aussie Bulldog Association when their pup is 12 mths old with updated photos of the individual dog, for consideration to be transferred over to a UABA Breed Certificate if they are planning on breeding.

Please keep to the percentage guidelines for your breeding along with a particular type, as these two requirements go hand in hand to produce a quality pup. The aim is to have all Aussie Bulldogs bred  between 81% and 87 % , with the higher percentage bracket of Males allowed over 90% for females that need a stronger line.If you have a female in the 70%-80% bracket you are best to contact the UABA Admin for breeding information for future registry of your pups.

If you plan on breeding, compatibility is best discussed for the ideal selection of males to use over your females. These matings should take place after the age of 12 mths and on her second season or more.
Females should also be mature in mind to cope with being in pup.
Further detailed information on Aussie Bulldogs can be found on the
Breed forum for bulldogs australia, which includes thousands of photo's from owners and breeders.

Keeping breed consistency, good health, percentages and a desired type in our dogs,  is our whole aim.
With any breed the occasional health problem does occur and we as a breeder do have a health guarantee to cover any serious issue on our pups up to the age of 12 mths.

In the coming 12mths we will have Blue & White "Southern Cross bulldog" foundation line pups on the ground, along with Blue Aussie Bulldogs of the desired breed percentage. This Southern Cross breeding program was started in 2007 by ourselves and a couple of breeders within the UABA. We have always wanted to see blue bulldogs in Australia and given the rarity of this colour in bulldogs we have started the program having 4 unrelated lines running that can be interlinked together.

We hope that you enjoy our web site, and if you are looking for a puppy, please visit the
puppy 4 sale page for puppies available and any coming litters from our girls. We also have two males standing at stud, view the stud dog page for more details.
